In this role, you'll provide Professional Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services to a high-profile Education client.

Overview of Role:

You will be responsible for supporting managers in achieving service excellence and positive outcomes for our clients; showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service. Successful candidates will be presented with a great opportunity for career progression whilst at the same time being exposed to cross sector experience.

Your Day-to-Day:

Reporting to a Senior surveyor you will assist and be responsible for timely provision of required information including;

Cost estimates / feasibilities
Employers Requirements
Review and agree Contractors Proposals
Review Contractors cost submission and agree contract sum
Raising contract documentation and purchase orders
Cost reporting
Change Control
Final Account
Interim and final payments

What You have to Offer:

MRICS or working towards chartership
Degree qualified in quantity surveying or other relevant business discipline.
Ability to work on own initiative reporting into senior QS
Attention to detail
Good time management and prioritisation skills
