Job Description

I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join an exciting and very successful business in Northwich. As part of a dynamic finance team you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Director in management decisions. On the back of significant growth you will be joining the business at a great time.

Duties will include:

* Monthly commission reporting
* Control account reconciliations
* Cost centre reports
* Support Management & Commercial Accountant
* Preparing invoices on Excel
* Uploading purchase ledger invoices from bespoke system onto SAGE reconciling
* Coding POs raised
* Cash book - update and post both payments and receipts in multi currencies
* Analysing credit card spend
* Creating monthly payment list for purchase ledger
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Various reports using Excel including monthly management reports
* Assisting credit control team with any reports when needed

Skills & Experience

* Actively studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA would be desirable
* Strong Excel skills including V lookup, SumIF, Pivot Tables & formulas
* Confidence in handling and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel
* Experience in Sage Line 50
* The attitude and ability to meet challenging deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* An enthusiastic, positive and 'can do' approach
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid change
* Ability to prioritise work load effectively
